“I make photographs in the margins — where nature meets industry, ritual, and ruin. These are quiet places charged with history, tension, and the feeling that something is about to change.“
“Hard questions are asked of the viewer about what kinds of landscape one might wish either to pass through or to live in — and what versions of ‘modern nature’ might be worth fighting for, and why.”

From his essay for Bastard Countryside
"Both beautiful and disturbing, but always provocative."
